Songbird Candles

candle Songbird uses art through the medium of wax. Each candle is a unique, one-of-a-kind creation made from a local beeswax and soy wax blend. They are hand poured and individually colored and scented. The benefits of using natural waxes, as opposed to paraffin wax, are many. Upon learning the benefits of making a natural candle, we made a satisfying switch away from paraffin to soy and bees' waxes.

Here are a few facts about why you should chose a natural burning wax over parrafin!

Both soy and beeswax are biodegradable, which make it safe for the environment.
They burn clean, which means they create less soot and are non-toxic.
Soy wax is made strictly from soybeans.

Pillar Candles We create pillar candles by blending soywax and beeswax together, forming a rich, naturally beautiful and clean candle. Small and large sizes are available. The candle colors vary from a dark rich amber to a golden amber, (thanks to the beeswax) with drippings of melted dyes which become what we call, the tye-dyed effect. No two candles are alike and each is its own creation. The color of beeswax varies. All candles can be made scented or unscented. Remember that no two candles are alike and each is its own creation. Tea Lights We have available soy tea lights in a 5- or 12-packs that are pre-packaged for any of your gift-giving occasions. All candles can be made scented or unscented.
